The Atchafalaya Basin Program schedule shows a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) meeting on July 1, a Research and Promotion Board meeting on July 15, and a Wood Stork Birding event on July 19.

The TAG is the group that pulls together the proposed projects for the Basin, evaluates each one, and recommends ones to be included in the next Annual Plan to the state legislature.

The Research and Promotion Board sorts through recommendations from the TAG and others and decides which projects to include in the Annual Plan.
