The Friends will be joining the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and others in the “Nature and Your Neighborhood” area at the 2009 Louisiana Earth Day in Baton Rouge on Sunday, April 19, 2009.

The event will be spread out between the River Center and the Old State Capitol, across River Road from the Mississippi River. Our area will be on the plaza between the Performing Arts Theater and the grassy area behind the Government Building facing St. Louis Street.

Come out between noon and 5PM and visit with us, or better yet, help us to introduce visitors to the wonders of the Atchafalaya and their own backyards.
