Sorry that the site has been quiet for the past few weeks. I was on the road, then home for family business, then on the road again and it has been a hectic month.

Now it’s time for another Friends of the Atchafalaya Board meeting. Because of difficulties scheduling rooms before and during the legislative session, we have decided not to try to meet in the Capitol Annex for a while.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 24, in the back room of the Capital City Grill (telephone 381-8140), 100 Lafayette Street in downtown Baton Rouge between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. You can order from the menu if you want to eat with us. If it works out, we will continue to meet there until further notice.

FOA Board meetings are open to all, but please let me know if you plan to attend so we can be sure to have enough space. You can drop a note to charlesc at basinbuddies.org.
