The Louisiana Wildlife Federation has released the names of the 2008 Conservation Award winners.

The Governor’s Award – Conservationist of the Year for 2008 – will be presented to coastal blogger, Leonard “Len” Bahr, recently retired Science Advisor in the Governor’s Office of Coastal Activities at the February 28th banquet held in conjunction with the Louisiana Wildlife Federation’s 70th Annual Convention in Monroe.
